Well, running under them, technically.
Managed 7.3km in 47 minutes yesterday. My legs are reminding me of this with every step today, but I'm pretty chuffed. I ran from the Saltmarket at the top of the Green down to Dalmarnock Road bridge, then back to King's Bridge. This is why my distances are slightly random, but they're useful markers and it's nice to be able to really see that I'm improving. I had to walk on the return leg between Dalmarnock and the railway bridge on the way back because I had a mega dizzy spell. My own damn fault, I was out running about 3pm, and I'd had my breakfast at 9am and hadn't eaten anything between then. I shall remedy that by going out earlier and avoid any keeling over in future.
Apart from my run yesterday, I did nothing. It was ace. I've been on a couple of dates, and had an interview on Friday for the Science Festival (this was one of my exciting bits of news, I still don't know how it went but I'm keeping my fingers crossed) and it was lovely to have a relaxed Sunday all to myself. I didn't have to put make-up on, or dress to impress anyone. Totally ideal.
Today I need to return some library books and buy a pom-pom maker. I don't see this being too traumatic, unless the pom-poms take over in the manner of tribbles or similar. Then I might be in trouble.
