Two days in a row!

I thought I'd best do this now, as I'm going out in a few hours and if all goes to plan I'll have consumed enough booze to make it tricky to post coherent thoughts!

Had a good, if cold, run this, erm, afternoon. It was going to be the morning, but I had digestive troubles at 2am this morning, so I thought that getting liquids and food into myself was probably the priority. I used my time lounging in bed wisely though, I finally got round to putting together a shopping list and getting stuff ordered from Asda, so on Sunday evening I'll have the makings of lots of delicious dinners in the house.

Once it became apparent that there wasn't going to be a repeat of my troubles, I managed to get out into the fresh air. Whoo boy, it was cold. I managed to get out about 2pm and there was still frost on the paths and grass, and puddles were still frozen solid! I am very much in love with my fleece headband, warm ears are a definite luxury when you're out on days like today.

Surprisingly, I wasn't wearing too many layers, running tights, long vest, long-sleeved top and windcheater. My extremities weren't forgotten though, fleece headband, fleece snood and woolly gloves completed the look, and I was the right side of warm the whole time, even during my cool-down walk at the end. I actually winced when I saw a girl wearing a padded jacket out for a run, she must have been roasting!
