Running

In case any of you are wondering, I'm still at this running business3:15. I booked my accommodation for the Edinburgh Half yesterday, so there's no backing out now.

I'm oddly nervous about it, which is a. strange and b. silly. I've just been for a 10 mile run. The other day I did 12 miles. I survived both of them, and actually had fun. I can run this distance, but because the Half is "official" I'm nervous. It's really stupid.

I re-read the terms and conditions yesterday, and there's a sweeper van that goes at 3 hours 15 minutes pace to collect people, because they will need the roads back eventually, and that's fair enough. My predicted time is 2 hours 6 minutes. I will not require a sweeper van, I really won't, yet I have alarming visions of being hauled into the back of it.

How utterly bloody ridiculous. And I know that when I finish, it'll be awesome and fun and I'll be all smiles. Stupid running.
