To-Do Lists

At the tail end of last year, I wrote a post about my plans for the year. I was very keen on looking forward to a potentially bright future instead of at a fairly bleak recent history.

My plans were thus:

"So, in 2013 I plan to (in rough chronological order):
Go to London with Jess and enjoy Gothic graveyards, creepy tours and general merriment.
Find a swing dancing class and start dancing again.
Get a volunteering position at Glasgow Science Centre, with a view to re-applying for jobs that come up.
Start the process of buying my first house.
Head to Hamburg to see Cassia after too bloody long.
Run my first 10K, which will be the Women's 10K on the 12th of May. Now I've written it, I have to do it!
Fly out to South Africa to spend a week with Lyndsey and then maybe spend a week either on safari or in the wine country."

And I've either done, am about to do, or have started the process of doing 6 out of the 7. The only one I've not ticked off is swing dance classes, but now that term has started again, I'll be going when I've got back from holiday.

And I've still got a quarter of the year to go. How's that for efficiency?
