OK, so it's time to come clean. My big news was that I had an interview at the Glasgow Science Centre last Friday. Sadly I didn't get the job, but the fact that I got an interview was super-exciting and really, really good for the ol' ego. It also shows how many more opportunities there are in Glasgow compared to Lancaster, I'd only been back two weeks before I was getting emails asking me to go to the interview!
I still need to ring up and get feedback, so I'm currently not sure why I didn't get the job. I also want to ask if they have any volunteering positions because it would be good to have a chance to work there under any circumstances, really! Plus there's always the fact that it would be a bit of a foot in the door for any future job prospects.
Sorry if that was a bit of an anti-climax, "Hurray, I have an awesome job interview, but I didn't get the job in the end", isn't really riveting reading for a Thursday night.
I can furnish you with some woe, if you'd like? I had a bit of a crap night last night, weepy and sad mostly. It's to be expected after A COMPLETE AND UTTER DICK DUMPS YOU IN A LETTER BECAUSE HE IS A FUCKING COWARD. Ahem.
