So, my last post was in October last year. That's pretty shocking. Super-quick catch-up in 3...2...1...
GO!
1. Still working in my lovely, lovely bookshop. Though a different one, because the one I was working at closed. I still love it, I can't remember the last time I said that about my job. It's ace.
2. The last holiday we went on was to Brides-Les-Bains to do a bit of skiing/snowboarding (Ollie) and panicking while falling at high speed down a mountain on two bits of wood (me). We ate lots of cheese, drank lots of wine and wore lots of jumpers. Lovely.
3. The next holiday I'm going on is to Warsaw with the bold Ka. I've never been before and I'm quite excited. We've booked a really cool wee hostel in the city centre and it looks like a lovely city.
4. We've a big move planned, heading North to Glasvegas once the PhD is wrapped up. I'm spending a lot of time on Rightmove eyeing up flats.
5. Still knitting. Dementedly. I've also moved over to the dark side, and picked up a hook. That's right people. CROCHET. Check it out:
It'll eventually be a big ol' circular blanket. Eventually.
I've started on two-colour stranded knitting too. I am so very proud of this, and how well my gloves have turned out. TA-DA!
I've actually finished the pair, but I haven't taken a photo of them yet, once they've dried and I've sewn in the ends I will.
So, once I find my wee notebook and manage to decipher the notes of what we did in Hvar, Split, Perugia and Rome, I'll actually finish writing up the blog of last summer's holiday before I go on this summer's holiday!
