Finished (minus buttons, but who needs buttons in 25 degree heat?)

I actually made a wearable piece of clothing. I'm insanely proud of myself and my knitterly skills.

We're kind of taking it slowly over our last few days in Bangalore. Tomorrow we hit Gopalan for a bit of Christmas shopping and to buy the extra suitcase we'll need to take all our extra crap home. We have the laundry tomorrow too (oh, the drama!) so I'm hoping for a nice day to make sure that I'm not taking wet clothes home. Monday, I think we're heading to MG Road to pick up anything that we can't get a Gopalan, and having a bit of an International evening with the folk on our floor. Tuesday will be all about packing and napping, then we're headed to the airport on Tuesday night to get a stupidly timed flight home.

By 2pm on Wednesday we'll be back in Blighty, I'll be clutching the blanket I bought in Goa round me and dreaming of palm trees and golden beaches while we get the train back to Lancaster.

Somehow I have to get enough sleep/remain caffinated enough to get through the LUCC Christmas dinner. I'm really looking forward to seeing folk again, Skype is awesome but it doesn't really compare to sitting in the living room (oh goodness, sofas!) with a brew having a chat.

Saturday I'll be heading to Glasvegas to see the bold Katherine and the mysterious Mr Pedraza. I'm dying to see Raffles and Sacha too, and Becca and Matt, obviously. I'll be boring folk to death with my photos and whinging about the weather though!
