Right so. I suppose I should do some introductions:

I'm a science geek, specifically Astrophysics. I'm unrepentant about this.
I'm a whitewater kayaker. I'm bad at it, but I'm going to get better. Eventually.
I knit. Quite a lot. I'm reasonably good at it. I can knit dinosaurs, can you?
I watch far too many bad horror films.
I ready trashy crime novels, and a fair bit of Douglas Coupland, so it's not all bad.
I've promised to do an Adventure Race in October (www.aceraces.co.uk). I'm trying to train for it, but I'm being overwhelmed by talk of padded pants and the sheer amount of man-made fibres involved.
I'm doing a PGCE in Secondary Physics in September. Guilty secret, I don't have a primary school placement yet. I'm quite worried about that. I'm also worried about having to dissect things, and the kids witnessing my ineptness about handling organs.
I can speak some French, as long as it's in the present tense, and revolves around not ordering meat.
I watch Time Team when I'm hungover.
I love taking photos, but I wish I was better at it. For all the double chins and red eyes, I'm sorry.
I can't decide if I like being tall or not.
My boyfriend drives me nuts, which is why I love him.
I can cook.
I have a fondness for The Goons, Spike Milligan (for all that he was a wife beater) makes me laugh till I cry.
Monty Python is the reason I'm going to Hell.
I believe there is no God/gods. I find this cheering, not scary.
I listen to 50's rock and roll, punk, ska, metal and miserable country.

I'm perfectly happy with all of the above.
